How would you describe the relationship between your wellness practices and personal style?
Comfort is always at the top of my priority list for both wellness practices as well as my personal style. I move through life at the pace in which I am comfortable — one day that might be a gruelling workout with a long walk and social plans and the next it might be curling up on the couch with my husband and daughter at home all day. Allowing myself to choose how I go about my day puts me at my best self. I feel the same about the way with how I dress — comfort might be my favorite pair of loose drawstring pants and a good tank, or it might be a new pair of pumps and an elaborately styled and layered look; both bring me some kind of comfort depending on the day.
What pieces in your wardrobe instantly bring you back to yourself?
It’s always going to be a pair of Levi’s (two sizes too big), a clean white tee and a pair of flip flops.
What wellness rituals are non-negotiable for you?
I have become such a morning person since having my daughter. The consistency of my morning routine keeps me grounded before a day of unknowns with my four-month-old. First is of course my skincare and then I make my matcha at home; half whole milk, half coconut water, Rocky’s or More Than Matcha powder, a pinch of Maldon salt, and a tiny bit of honey — all over ice. I love to enjoy it outside in some peace in quiet if Penelope and time allows.
