How would you describe the relationship between your wellness practices and personal style?
Wellness will always be the foundation — it's like laying the groundwork for everything else good to follow, but it's also always subject to change. While I'm committed to certain practices, it's about balance, and that naturally shifts and evolves. My mood has always been a huge piece of what informs my style day to day, and my connection to wellness routines works the same way. I have a baseline in both getting dressed and taking care of myself, but staying curious and honest about what's actually serving me at the moment is what keeps me most in tune. Nothing should feel forced or overly rigid, whether that means adjusting your morning routine for the current season or taking a few extra minutes with an outfit to get clear on how you want to show up that day.
What pieces in your wardrobe instantly bring you back to yourself?
I am happiest and most comfortable when I’m in sandals — flip flops specifically. They ground any outfit, and I love the sense of ease that comes with them.
What wellness rituals are non-negotiable for you?
My baseline includes dry brushing (the best energy boost), warm lemon water, a shot of olive oil, and getting natural sunlight in my eyes first thing. I avoid my phone for the first hour after waking, and I won't have matcha until after breakfast, which honestly gets me out of bed! I'm sensitive and can overstimulate easily, so time to myself, getting outside, and setting boundaries are all necessary for maintaining an optimal state of mind. Daily movement is a given; I’m less about a specific workout these days but I prioritize getting steps in for an hour every day with zero distractions (no phone, podcast, etc.) The list goes on and is slightly evolving, but always feels second nature — just like getting dressed.
