How would you describe the relationship between your wellness practices and personal style?
For me, they’re closely intertwined. My biggest wellness practice is sleep, when I don’t get a full night’s rest, it can genuinely change the way I see something as simple as a pair of cotton pants the next day. I’ll usually gravitate toward a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a lazy shoe to keep things easy. On the other hand, when I’m consistent with my sleep, I’m more inclined to take care of myself in other ways too—taking my vitamins, going on walks, putting on makeup, and ultimately rediscovering the joy of putting a more elaborate outfit together. It’s like one thing leads naturally into another.
What pieces in your wardrobe instantly bring you back to yourself?
If I need a reset or a jumpstart back to myself, I’ll reach for a buttery soft pair of vintage 501s with a great fade, and a cotton T-shirt with that same perfectly worn vintage feel. I always return to it as my starting point because it’s the ultimate foundation and build from there.
What wellness rituals are non-negotiable for you?
A hot shower before bed, followed by my multi-step skincare routine and finishing with my favorite body moisturizer and jasmine body oil. This is completely non-negotiable for me, I truly couldn’t rest knowing I haven’t rinsed the day off.
Other rituals include taking my collagen every morning, laughing and talking with my husband often, checking in with one another, and stealing a million kisses from my dog.
